Canine rehabilitation centre

This new canine rehabilitation centre was launched in the WSAVA Congress and turned to have a brilliant reception amongst the audience. It has been designed by the well-known research and development team Westcoast, experts in veterinary hydrotherapy since 1988, and manufactured by Alvo, well-known manufacturers specialized in advanced hospital equipment.  

This new and versatile centre has been designed for specialized rehabilitation and hydrotherapy. It is a perfect solution for those owners of hospitals or clinics who do not have much space meant for rehabilitation since it takes little room.

This canine rehabilitation centre provides a wide range of functions and does not need much space.  

Main uses

Underwater treadmill: You can provide ongoing support for patients with conditions such as intervertebral disc disease, post-surgical conditions such as hip surgery and cruciate ligament repairs, injuries in sporting dogs, neurological conditions resulting in weakness and difficulty with walking, maintenance of mobility in older dogs, management of joint conditions such as hip or elbow dysplasia or osteochondrosis, fitness or weight-loss management programmes.

The treadmill moves in two directions. It can also work with no water. You can also leave the door open and use it as a table. The ramp easily turns into a sit for operators.

Water resistance: Current for small or medium dogs to swim against or resistance for larger dogs to walk against.

Hot spa: As a passive form of treatment, it is an ideal way for patients that are recovering from surgery because it helps to relax muscles and warm joints, allowing a greater range of movement. Patients benefit from the spa because the hot water increases blood flow to the affected areas and the vigorous water movement helps with muscle toning and relaxation.

It can also be used with just hot air, a great help for dermatological treatments. 

Bath: Shower head with adjustable temperature. You can also secure your dog to prevent it from escaping.
