Synoquin Growth

Many dog breeds are susceptible to developmental joint damage through either a genetic predisposition or due to managemental funds during their growth phase. Now you can help your puppy protect itself against potential joint damage.

When should I give it to my puppy?

Synoquin Growth can be given to your puppy from three months of age and fed with the regular meals for the first two years of its life after which you may wish to continue with adult Synoquin.

Background

In the first eighteen months of life puppies multiply their initial birth weight by an average of sixty times. Compare this to humans who only triple their birth weight in the same period,
and the potential problems are obvious.

This rapid increase in body weight puts extreme pressure on the puppy’s skeletal system and therefore by definition its joints. This is particularly true in large breed dogs* as it is they who tend to suffer most from the debilitating growth problems such as hip dysplasia and osteochondrosis.

What is a Chondroprotective?

The joint’s key operational components cartilage and synovial fluid are a complex matrix of proteins, glycosaminoglycans and collagen.
Researchers both in the human and animal field have discovered that it is possible, and in
many cases necessary, to supplement the body’s natural resources with these key joint building blocks commonly known as chondroprotective agents (CPAs). These agents are not
drugs but naturally occurring amino sugars which have no detrimental side effects.

Why use Synoquin?

Since 1996 Synoquin has been recommended by veterinarians for joint disorders in adult dogs and today over two thousand veterinarians recommend Synoquin to their clients on a regular basis.

Synoquin is a unique patented formulation which combines the key CPAs that have been
proven to maintain joint form and condition. No other product contains these CPAs in this critical ratio and it is this successful formula that vets and dog owners alike have come to rely upon.
